Ministry

The Great Commission given to us by Jesus Christ:

Matthew 28:18-21

"Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Eucharistic Ministers:

Guild of the Christ Child: The Guild of the Christ Child was founded in 1955 by the Department of Christian Education of the Diocese of New York. Please click here to visit our page and learn more about the GCC at St. George's Church.

Episcopal Church Women:We long to have each one feel she, individually, has something to do with Christ and for the coming of his Kingdom, not alone or as a member of a single parish but one of that great company wherein in their own special station, wait and watch and labor for the lord. Please click here to visit or page and learn more about our ministry.

Altar Guild:The Altar Guild is a ministry of service.  We prepare the altar, priest's vestments and vessels for worship.

Please visit our page to find out how to become a part of this ministry, who we are, when we meet, how to arrange for flowers and candle memorials and what the colors worn by the priest and displayed on the altar mean.
